PP+K Goes on Miracle Marathon Journey with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 16, PP+K will participate in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ second annual Miracle Marathon. Aimed at encouraging participants to get active for a cause, Miracle Marathon is a 100% virtual fundraising campaign, in which participants move 27.2 miles over the span of 27 days. For the first 26 days, participants complete a mile each day through any activity they choose and at a time and place convenient for them. On the 27th day, all participants will complete the final 1.2 miles together. It’s a marathon, plus an extra mile for the kids.

The Tampa-based advertising agency’s digital team worked with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals last year to successfully introduce Miracle Marathon to four markets around the country through social media initiatives.

“We are big supporters of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the concept behind Miracle Marathon,” says Nicholas Stoeckle, Director of Social Media Strategy at PP+K. “It only makes sense to experience the Miracle Marathon journey for ourselves.”

This year, PP+K will help Miracle Marathon expand internationally, to 21 markets across two countries. PP+K is also working with Chloe Lukasiak of Lifetime’s hit reality television show “Dance Moms,” to further promote Miracle Marathon through her social media platforms.

“PP+K played a vital role in helping us make last year’s Miracle Marathon a huge success,” says Staci Cross, Director of National Events at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “We are so excited to be able to work with them once again to introduce Miracle Marathon to even more markets.”
