PP+K Wins Two Charlie Awards at the 2015 AAF Fourth District ADDYs

PP+K, a leading full-service advertising agency and production company, today announced that it brought home five honors, including two best-in-category Charlie Awards from the AAF Fourth District ADDYs.

We’re Different Too,’ a radio spot created for GTE Financial and ‘First Dance,’ a television spot created for Bright House Networks, both won best-in-category Charlie Awards, for Best-in-Radio and Best-in-Television, respectively.

Named after the creator of the ADDY Awards, Charlie Whitebrook, the Charlie Award honors the best work in each of the 14 media categories. PP+K was one of only two agencies to take home more than one Charlie Award from the AAF Fourth District ADDYs.

“It’s an honor to be awarded best-in-category for not only one, but two, of our campaigns at the district level,” says Tom Kenney, Executive Creative Director of PP+K. “We’re very excited to represent Tampa at the national competition in Las Vegas.”

The Tampa-based advertising agency also won one Gold ADDY for ‘Buffering Agony,’ (Bright House Networks) and two silver ADDYs for ‘Bathroom Door Signs’ (Brew Detroit) and ‘FaceTime Bomb’ (Bright House Networks) at the District competition.

All of these honored pieces will move on to compete at the National American Advertising Awards in Las Vegas, Nev. in June.
